DON'T SCRATCH

Don’t scratch at a mosquito bite.
It’s rude.  It’s crude.  It’s impolite.
Don’t scratch at scabs.
Don’t scratch your nose.
Don’t scratch the stuff between your toes.
Don’t ever scratch at chicken pox.
Or poison oak.
Or woolen socks.
(You know, sometimes I can’t recall
Why I have fingernails at all.)
